A bit about Andy

Originally from Hampshire in the UK, I immigrated to NZ in 2003 to start a life in the Antipodes.  My wife Milena, my daughter Luna and I escaped city life in 2020 and made Mangawhai our home.  We've never looked back.

I only picked up a camera in earnest when I hit the big 4 0 and I have never looked back.  Be it a handheld or a drone camera I strive to frame and expose the perfect image. 

I find that being out in nature with my camera is like therapy.  I'm in my happy place :-)

The Mangawhai area is the most incredible canvas and you’ll most likely see me out and about during the golden hour(s), just after sunrise or before sunset.

It was my Dad back in the UK who kept badgering me, saying that my work was good enough to open a gallery, and eventually, I began to believe him.

Not long after, Elevated Gallery was born.
